rocky's Story

Rocky was rescued in honor of a daughter who is deeply missed. When first found, he was down in the pen, emaciated, and barely able to walk due to severe EPM. Today, Rocky is healed, strong, and full of heart.

Though he will never be a riding horse, Rocky is an extraordinary companion — gentle, intelligent, and deeply bonded to people. His tongue sometimes hangs out, a small reminder of what he survived, but it only adds to his unique charm. A true “heart horse,” Rocky brings joy, comfort, and unconditional love to everyone around him.
