uno's Story
Last June, a pony named Uno passed through an auction. Penny Parker noticed him immediately. Uno had cancer in his left eye, and without intervention, his future was grim. Penny rescued him, arranged for the eye to be removed, and gave him a second chance. Though he was adopted, circumstances brought him back to the rescue months later.

When a family came to meet another horse, Penny instead introduced them to Uno—now Danny. The connection was instant. Danny mirrored the journey of 18-year-old Sydney, who is blind in her left eye after surviving a brain tumor at birth. When Danny arrived at the farm, he was fearful and defensive—difficult to catch, reactive to touch, unsure how to trust. Sydney met him with patience and determination, working with him on the ground day after day. Slowly, fear gave way to trust. Today, their bond is undeniable.
