alex's Story

In December 2022 Alex was pulled from a kill pen, crippled by pain and waiting for the end. Severe laminitis and founder with rotation left little reason to hope — euthanasia was being planned.

Then everything shifted. With skilled, compassionate care, Alex stood differently, moved differently, and for the first time in a long while, wanted to move forward. A horse once destined to be lost is now standing — steady, willing, and alive with possibility.
